If my friends and I find them in seasonal menus for April, it’s implicit understanding to order since this ingredients tells that spring has come and have deep flavors😉There is dried one.

I am sure even though locals enjoy a lot this ingredients, it is one of the last ingredients cooking classes for expats would offer (I think they are very cute🥰 ).

But this is Survival class❤️‍🔥In classes we used it. It was one of my pleasures to see my guests reaction ❤️‍🔥Some already buy and enjoy after classes and others even could not touch it.

I respect people’s reaction and preference but it’s my duty to offer and introduce what they are🤟

They are found on the shores of Japan in springtime during spawning season, but spend most of their life in 300m deep waters.

In supermarkets we can find them from March to May and they are usually boiled. It's fine not to do so, but it's better to remove ①the eyes ②beak and ③soft bone.

My cat seems to be attracted to them🤣
